Abraham & Isaac
Last week, we learned about Abraham and the very special covenant (or promise) that God made to him. God promised to give Abraham a very big family and to bless the world through him. God kept that promise by sending His Son, Jesus, who was a part of Abraham’s family. Through Jesus, all the nations of the world are forgiven and blessed!
God also kept His promise to give Abraham a very big family, by giving Abraham and his wife Sarah a son named Isaac. This week, we will meet Isaac and learn about how Abraham trusted God and was willing to give up his son. God was also willing to give up His Son, Jesus, to save the world from sin so that we may live. Thank you, Jesus, for being our sacrifice!
