As we continue our study in the book of Exodus, we learned last week that God is our wonderful Provider. God miraculously provided all of the food and water that the Israelites needed as they continued their journey towards the promised land (Canaan). God also provided what everyone NEEDS more than food and water - Jesus!  Bread and water give people life for a little while, but Jesus gives people life forever!

In this week’s very important lesson, we will learn about the good laws(or rules) that God gave to the Israelites as they continued to travel in the wilderness. These laws would help guide the Israelites and show them God’s perfect holiness. God’s rules are meant to help us, but we can never keep them all. That is called sin- and sin keeps us away from God. But Jesus NEVER sinned. Jesus came to bring us back to God. We can trust Jesus to forgive our sins.
