Last week's lesson focused on David’s song to the Lord (Psalm 23) - teaching the children about the abundant care, protection, and guidance of the Lord. This is similar to that of a loving shepherd, which also reminded us that Jesus is the “Good Shepherd...who lays down His life for the sheep” (John 10:11). 

We have completed one year of studying God’s Word together and learning that the Bible is One Big Story that points to Jesus. Let’s take a few weeks to review what we have been learning so far. 

This week we will take a look back at the book of Genesis, chapter 1. In the beginning, God created everything and He created everything for His glory. The book of Genesis is the beginning of the greatest true story that has ever been told. And at the center of this story is our Savior Jesus. Jesus was present at Creation (Colossians 1:16-17) and is Lord over everything. Thank you God for making all things good!
