Last week, our lesson taught us about Abraham and how he trusted God. Abraham was willing to give up his son Isaac as a sacrifice because he believed God would keep His promises. God was willing to give up His Son, Jesus as a sacrifice so that we can be forgiven for our sins. We can trust God because He is faithful! 

This week, we will learn more about Isaac, his wife Rebekah and their sons Jacob and Esau. God’s promises to Abraham were passed down and continued with Isaac. We will also learn that when Esau gave up his birthright, Jacob would receive the blessings that God promised. One day, God would send Jesus to earth through Jacob’s family. Jesus would bring blessings and salvation to the whole world.
