God calls us to be stewards of everything he has given us including our bodies! Like most other areas, it is easier to steward the body well in community. Join us as we jump back into our Whole Start theme, focusing on taking care of the bodies God has given us. Together we will train (walk/run) as we look forward to participating in the YMCA Heroes Health Hope 5k.
The first info session will be Sunday, August 7, after church.
Training
30 min Info sessions after worship service:
- 8/7/22
- 8/28/22
We will meet after church to discuss the training regimen, proper shoes, gear, and other running/walking tips.
If you are interested please register so we can stay connected during training and eventually coordinate for race day.
Logistics for the 5K:
- RACEDAY: November 12, 2022, 8 am
- Packet pick-up will be Friday, Nov. 11th from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
- On the day of the race, you can pick up your packets from 7:15 am until 7:45 am
- Location: OrthoIndy Foundation YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, 5315 Lafayette Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46254
- (There will be a table in the lobby or you can check at the member services desk)
